~2.8" Pink Zebra Calcite polished gemstone sphere from Madagascar. 2.8"carved from natural gemstone showing striped bands of pink Calcite and black matrix rock. This is a new find from Madagascar. The black stone likely includes manganese, though the origin of the pink color to the calcite crystal is not yet known. Includes hand-carved tripod wood stand as pictured. The sphere weighs ~14oz. A wonderful pink Zebra Calcite sphere for display, collection, and study.
